The C.I.P. Permanent Bureau

The Permanent Bureau is the decision-making body of the C.I.P.

Its responsibilities include:

  • monitoring the application of the C.I.P.’s decrees and safety regulations.
  • documenting the edited regulations in member countries.
  • maintaining imprints of officially recognised proof marks.
  • preparing meetings of the Permanent International Commission (C.I.P.) and their administration.
  • assuring the permanence of the adequacy and effectiveness of the implementation of the quality policy.
  • assessment of testing laboratories by the preparation, organisation, and execution of inter-laboratory tests in collaboration with the Quality Sub-Commission.
